## 1. Position Purpose  
The Supply Chain Manager is accountable for the operational execution of the end-to-end supply chain function at the Dooen manufacturing facility.

### Responsibilities include:
- Raw material and procurement management
- Production and demand planning
- Inventory management
- Freight, 3PL warehousing and cold storage
- Domestic logistics and distribution

- Overall site performance and operational strategy  
- Capital planning and network optimisation

- Long-term capacity and commercial direction

### Supply Chain Manager Accountability (Operational Execution)  
- Implementation of supply chain strategy  
- S&OP execution and planning discipline  
- Inventory and working capital control  
- Supplier performance management  
- Logistics optimisation  
- Supply risk mitigation  
- Integrated procurement

## 3. Key Accountabilities  
### 3.1 Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Execution  
- Lead monthly S&OP cycle in collaboration with Sales, Production and Finance.  
- Ensure forecast alignment with production capacity and raw material availability.  
- Identify supply constraints and recommend mitigation strategies.  
- Maintain forecast accuracy and planning integrity.

### 3.2 Raw Material & Procurement Management  
- Partner with Agronomy/Potato Manager and assist with maintaining a reliable supply of potatoes.  
- Manage procurement of ingredients, packaging and indirect materials.  
- Negotiate supplier agreements within delegated authority.  
- Monitor supplier performance, cost trends and risk exposure.

### 3.3 Inventory & Working Capital Control  
- Maintain optimal stock levels across raw materials, WIP and finished goods.  
- Deliver inventory accuracy ≥ 99%.  
- Reduce obsolete, aged and slow-moving stock.  
- Drive improvements in inventory turns and cash conversion cycle.

### 3.4 Warehousing & Logistics Performance  
- Oversee warehouse operations including cold storage integrity.  
- Ensure Deliver In Full On Time (DIFOT) ≥ 98%.  
- Manage third-party logistics providers and freight contracts.

### 3.5 Financial & Budget Accountability  
- Develop and manage the supply chain operating budget.  
- Deliver performance within approved cost parameters.

### 3.6 Systems, Compliance & Continuous Improvement  
- Ensure ERP/MRP data integrity.  
- Embed KPI dashboards and performance reporting cadence.

### 3.7 Leadership & Culture  
- Build and lead a high-performing supply chain team.  
- Establish clear performance expectations and KPIs.

## 4. Key Performance Indicators  
- DIFOT ≥ 98%  
- Inventory accuracy ≥ 99%  
- Forecast accuracy in line with business targets  
- Working capital improvement year-on-year

## 5. Authority  
- Procurement and freight contract negotiation within delegated limits.  
- Approval of operational supply chain expenditure within budget.

## 6. Qualifications & Experience  
### Essential  
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business or related field.  
- 7–10 years’ experience in manufacturing supply chain leadership.
- Strong S&OP and inventory management expertise.

### Desirable  
- Experience in food manufacturing or agricultural processing.
